Red Salmon Arts presents ¡Cine Resistencia! Free Summer Film Screening Series featuring a collection of indigenous animation shorts. These beautifully visual films show stories in different languages from Mexico such as Zapoteco from the Planicie Costera, Oaxaca, Náhuatl from the Huasteca, Hidalgo, Mayo from Salitral, Sonora and more. Please join us and stay for a short discussion following the screening.
**This FREE film screening starts at 2:30pm with light refreshments provided. Doors open at 2:00pm.
**ALL AGES. Children are welcome!
**Films are subtitled in spanish. English transcriptions may become available, stay posted.
**A sliding scale donation or purchase at Resistencia is suggested to go toward refreshments and support the bookstore.
